Client list is like the testimony for any web site. This not only gives a impression that whom you have worked so far but also tell them that you are not the Ginny pig :) and many more have got their work done from here. I had the chance to see the client list of www.bharatgrouponline.com lately though it is better way of classifying the client and show in form of logo.

including one is an easy way for people to see who you've worked with, but I find that it also gives employers a chance to see a person's experience and work history at a glance without having to ask for a full CV.

Great advice Bahy, think part of who you include in your publicised list needs to be common sense. i.e 'how will potential leads feel when they see this company listed here'

Very good article!
I also think that client lists are very important if your company is not well known like - let's say BMW. The potential customer needs to see if the work you will be doing is professional and meets their needs.

Thanks for sharing!

Not all clients, one should try to filter clients so he doesn't get any point against him, like let's say a Website for a certain political view, some religion, things that can be disagreed with, also those sites which are overly controlled by the employer that one disagrees with, he should try to make his list as neutral, bright and himself as he can, that's how I see it.

and a small note from the client on how creative and flexible the designer is, leaves a GREAT impression!
